It’s hard to believe that 2024 is over and 2025 is here! To start the new year with a bang, Infinity Lab planned a special performance for the seniors at the Senior Center. At 2:00 pm, the first performance of 2024 began!

Rien opened the show with a stunning performance of Etude No. 1 in F Major on the piano—a beautiful piece that set the tone for an exceptional evening.

Grace followed as the second performer, continually impressing us with her versatility. Over time, she has showcased her talent with the guzheng, hulusi—both traditional Chinese instruments—and her vocal skills. Today, she surprised us yet again with an incredible dance performance set to Mika's "Just Friends."
For the third performance, Rien returned to the stage with Beethoven’s famous Moonlight Sonata. The serene and quiet beauty of the piece resonated deeply with the audience, especially the seniors, who thoroughly enjoyed it.

Next, Apollo Cai made his debut on our stage, performing Concerto No. 1 in C Major: First Movement on the violin. His skillful playing brought the violin to life, and the room fell silent, captivated by his artistry. His performance was followed by his sister, Athena Cai, the youngest of the day and another first--time performer at our show. Athena played Tchaikovsky’s Winter Waltz on the piano-- a solid performance! We are confident she will continue to grow and look forward to seeing her perform again.

The sixth performance was by Chloe Li, who played The Swan on the violin. Her smooth and delicate playing truly impressed the audience and showed that she excels not only at piano, but also at the strings.

Cielle then took the stage with her signature grace, captivating everyone with her beautiful rendition of Caro Mio Ben. Her voice, as always, was mesmerizing.

Elena followed with Nocturne in C-sharp Minor on the piano, playing it with the experience of a professional musician (fitting, considering that she performed this piece at Carnegie Hall before!) She played it flawlessly, drawing the audience into the music’s deep emotional currents and tranquility.

To conclude the show, Steven Chen performed Prelude Op. 23 No. 7 on the piano—a powerful and technically demanding piece. His lightning-fast fingers and masterful technique left the audience amazed. It was Steven’s first time on our stage, and his poised, commanding presence and exceptional skill made a lasting impression on us all.

Of course, after these wonderful performances, everyone gathered for a lively round of Bingo.

Marcus, Rien, Elena, and I were sitting or standing near the seniors, helping them out, while Grace and Chloe stood by the TV, enthusiastically calling out the numbers.

When someone won—whether it was a straight line, a blackout, or another fun pattern—they earned a Bingo dollar as their prize! This added an extra layer of excitement to the game, making it even more enjoyable to play amidst the seniors.

Once again, Infinity Lab delivered an awesome performance and a great start to the new year! It was an unforgettable show, and next month is sure to be filled with just as many fun times.
