Last weekend, we again brought music and creativity to the senior home with a heartwarming Halloween-themed performance.

The program began with Jeremy Wang’s expressive cello rendition of Humoresque, filling the room with warmth and nostalgia.

Ryan Wang, Jeremy’s brother, followed with a gentle, emotional performance of Faye Wong’s Ru Yuan, his voice carrying both delicacy and depth.

Grace Ma then transported everyone with the lively rhythms of General’s Mandate on the guzheng, showcasing a stunning mix of strength, precision, and grace.

Cielle impressed with Chopin’s Waltz in C# Minor before delighting the audience again with her upbeat rendition of ABBA’s I Have a Dream, which had everyone smiling.

Shiang Hwu continued the program with a poised and graceful interpretation of C.P.E. Bach’s Concerto for Flute.

I (Chloe) concluded the concert with Beethoven’s Les Adieux, first movement, on piano, expressing both farewell and hope through music.

After the recital, we continued the seasonal celebration by painting pumpkins with the seniors. Laughter and conversation filled the room as bright oranges, greens, and purples decorated every table.

It was more than just a concert—it was an experience that reminded us that art and music connect generations and bring joy to all.
